This patient has several teeth that were broken at the gum line. He was unable to eat or smile with ease. This patient was not interested in having to wear an upper denture. He wanted to make every effort to avoid the difficulties of wearing a denture. We were able to fix his situation with implants and crowns. We performed his procedures with oral sedation. This patient had several dental implants placed on the upper arch. After several months to allow healing, the dental implants were restored with crown and bridge work. Now he is able to smile and eat without concerns.

This patient came into the office very displeased with both the look and fit of her upper partial denture. Because of her situation with the number teeth missing, it was very difficult, if not impossible to place a clasp to hold her partial denture in place. Esthetically, a partial denture clasp would have not looked very nice on her front teeth. We were able to solve her problem with the placement of a dental implant. The dental implant allows her partial denture to snap into place without movement. She is very pleased with the look and fit of her partial denture. She can smile and eat comfortably. This patient chose to have sedation dentistry during the placement of her dental implant.
