Cosmetic Smile Make Over, Sedation Dentistry, Periodontal (Gum) Disease

As many of our patients do, this patient came into our office with severe dental phobia, and many years of oral health neglect. Her teeth have easy to see decay, stain and spacing. She was embarrassed to smile out in public. We were able to remove her fear of the dentist with oral sedation dentistry. She was able to have all of her work completed in two sedation dentistry visits. We placed crowns on all of her upper teeth and did a through periodontal (gum disease) cleaning on the lower teeth. She is able to smile with comfort and confidence.

This patient had a great fear of the dentist which prevented him from seeking out preventative care. We were able to calm his fears by using oral sedation dentistry for all of his dental work. There was evident decay on the front teeth that was only restorable with crowns and bridges. The crown and bridge work was prepared and seated (cemented) while the patient was sedated. The patient now has a beautiful complete smile. He is now able to smile with confidence.
