12Cosmetic Smile Makeover, Sedation Dentistry, Periodontal Disease This patient presents with missing teeth in his smile line. This has bothered the patient for many years, but he had just never moved forward to fix the missing teeth. The main reason for him not moving forward was a fear of the dentist. Sedation dentistry relieved his anxiety and he was able to finally move forward with his treatment. While sedated we treated his periodontal (gum disease) disease, and prepared his upper front teeth for bridgework. The spaces were closed with the two bridges that are fixed permanently in the mouth. This patient had sedation dentistry to cement and place the bridges and to follow up on his gum disease therapy. |
