This patient was unhappy with the color and shape of his teeth. He suffers from a condition referred to as bruxism. Bruxism is where someone places a lot excessive wear and tear on their teeth by continuously clenching and grinding their teeth. In his case, they do shoe show years of wear. Do to the length of the procedure, this patient chose sedation dentistry to get him through the procedure with less stress. Sedation dentistry was also used to seat the crowns. We were able to restore his smile with full coverage crowns. They are now picture perfect with the color and shape that he is very pleased with. We also made this patient a night time bruxing guard, to protect the crowns from his destructive clenching and grinding while he sleeps.
