This patient presents with rampant decay on all of his front teeth. He had really let things go for some time. We discussed the benefits of sedation dentistry that would allow him to have his work completed in fewer visits with no memory of the visits. He chose to have everything completed with sedation dentistry. We were able to give him a nice natural looking smile decay free with crowns and bridges, which are permanent options that do not come out of the mouth. During his sedation dentistry visits we also treated him for periodontal (gum disease) disease. In the end everything turned out very nicely, both in looks and function. We also made this patient a night time grinding guard to protect his new dental work while he sleeps.
