35Smile Make Over, Sedation Dentistry, Gum ReShaping This patient had a few teeth missing and a lot of decay in the remaining teeth. He was very interested in having all of his dental work completed with sedation dentistry. The first procedure completed, was a gum tissue reshaping (gingivectomy) procedure to remove excess gum tissue covering his front teeth. After this procedure had healed, we restored his remaining teeth with crowns and bridgework. The end result was a very nice white, cosmetic smile for this young man. The sedation dentistry is what brought him into the office, but now he is able to have his teeth cleaned and maintained with sedation dentistry. Very nice before and after photographs show the dramatic difference in this patients smile. |
