Cosmetic Smile Makeover, Gum Tissue Removal
After having his braces removed, this patient presented to our office with decay on his front teeth and overgrown gum tissue that made his teeth look to be very short. His mother thought that permanent teeth looked as if they were his baby teeth. We were able to fix the decay on his front teeth very easily with tooth colored fillings. After the removal of the excess gum tissue (gingivectomy) his teeth now appear longer and much more proportional. This young man now has a more even looking smile. Now if we could only get him to start brushing a little better…. |
