This patient is terrified of the dentist! She ignored the early warning signs of gum disease (periodontal disease), such as bleeding gums, loosening teeth, and pain. Due to the advanced bone loss with her teeth, we had to remove her remaining upper teeth and place an upper denture. With her fear, we sedated this patient. She had no pain after the procedure. The after picture was taken two days after her surgery appointment and she was doing very well, describing almost no pain with the entire process. She is very happy and satisfied with her new smile.
